WUC - Photography

Underwater imaging, photography or videography, is an important tool to record and document the underwater world. Not only for scientific purpose in marine conservation or archaeology, but also as art form or just for the pleasure of remembering your dives and the beautifully bizarre and colourful objects that you find.

Wellington Underwater Club is running photo competitions in several categories every year.

Summer 2026 Photo Competition

Announcing the first Wellington Underwater Club photo competition of 2026.

Theme "boat diving". You can interpret this however you like.. photos taken on a dive from a boat, photos taken in water where there are also boats, wreck diving...
