As part of the Club's #LoveSeaweed campaign we have secured funding to run a free community snorkel event on 17th March at Kau Bay, 10am to 3pm with Mountains to Sea Wellington.

Snorkel guides and all gear will be provided for free (just bring togs and towels). No experience needed. The snorkel event will be focused on all things seaweed and showcase the fantastic seaweed gardens and forests of Wellington Harbour. Download pdf for more information.

The community snorkel event is a great way for anyone to look under the waves and learn about seaweed and local marine life while experiencing the marine environment. Learn about the important functions of seaweed and the Club's citizen science activities including our Project Baseline Wellington Kelp project.
